Jon Spear is an award-winning singer/songwriter specializing in oldies, blues, folk, and classic rock genres — in short, songs you might hear with family & friends when gathered around a campfire.  He regularly entertains visitors at many popular Central Virginia venues, and his original songs have been on the Top 50 blues music radio charts in North America, Australia and Europe.  Jon won’t admit how long he’s been performing but here’s a hint: his first band opened for the Isley Brothers at the Capital Theatre in Port Chester NY when Twist and Shout was top-40 hit.
